The highly anticipated drama My Dearest Nemesis has unveiled a new highlight teaser, offering a deeper look into the complicated romance between its lead characters.

Based on a hit webtoon, the series follows a man and woman who first crossed paths as online gaming partners during their school years. Sixteen years later, fate reunites them—not as friends, but as a boss and employee in the corporate world.

Mun Ka Young takes on the role of Baek Su Jeong, an ambitious and skilled team leader in the strategic planning department at Yongseong Department Store. Known for her resilience and fearless attitude, she has earned the nickname “division director killer” for never backing down, even against her superiors.

Opposite her, Choi Hyun Wook portrays Ban Ju Yeon, a perfectionist and the only heir to his family’s massive conglomerate. As the newly appointed director of the strategic planning division, he carefully hides his secret identity as “Black Dragon,” an alter ego from his gaming past, in order to maintain his image as a worthy successor.

The teaser kicks off with Baek Su Jeong eagerly saying, “I’ll lean on you. You lean on me. Are we finally meeting?” She looks forward to reconnecting with her first love, “Black Dragon,” whom she once knew through an online game. However, her excitement quickly turns to regret as she groans, “My first love, the Black Dragon… my embarrassing, cringeworthy past.” A later scene shows her in tears, hinting that their once-idyllic connection ended on a sour note.

When Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon meet again at work, neither realizes the other was once their first love. In the game, Baek Su Jeong was a healer, but in reality, she has transformed into a determined and no-nonsense team leader. Meanwhile, Ban Ju Yeon carefully balances his public persona as a chaebol heir while keeping his past identity a secret.

The teaser takes a humorous turn when Baek Su Jeong stumbles upon Ban Ju Yeon’s hidden life. Shocked, he mutters, “You’re a dangerous woman. If this keeps up, my reputation will be ruined.” Other amusing moments show Ban Ju Yeon drunkenly searching for chocolate milk and bickering with a child over an action figure, while Baek Su Jeong watches in disbelief. Intent on keeping her out of his way, he firmly declares, “Baek Su Jeong must be eliminated at all costs.”

Despite their past disappointments, the two slowly find themselves drawn to each other again. Ban Ju Yeon reflects, “I thought that person would accept me as I am, but it turned out to be the worst,” while Baek Su Jeong insists, “First love? I never want to see him again. I can’t stand him.” The real question remains—what will happen when they finally realize the truth about each other?
