The highly anticipated film “Omniscient Reader” (also referred to as “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint”) has unveiled its first official trailer and poster!

Adapted from the popular web novel of the same name, “Omniscient Reader” follows Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop), who suddenly finds himself inside the fictional universe of a novel he had been reading. With knowledge of future events from the story, he embarks on a journey to prevent the world’s downfall. Lee Min Ho takes on the role of Yoo Joong Hyuk, the novel’s original protagonist, whom Kim Dok Ja had followed through the pages.

The trailer opens with Kim Dok Ja reading a passage from the novel’s first chapter: “The subway stopped in the middle of Dongho Bridge.” To his astonishment, this scene plays out exactly as written—the subway he is on halts in the same location. Realizing what’s happening, he murmurs, “This is exactly like the beginning of that novel.”

Following the collapse of the bridge, Kim Dok Ja encounters Yoo Joong Hyuk in a tense moment, prompting the latter to question, “Who are you?” The action-packed preview then introduces the film’s impressive cast, which includes Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Nana, and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.

The newly released poster for the film carries the tagline, “The world inside the novel becomes reality.”
