Why “Undercover High School” Is a Must-Watch, According to Its Cast
The stars of MBC’s new drama *Undercover High School* are giving fans a sneak peek at what makes the show so exciting!
This comedy-action series follows Jeong Hae Seong, played by Seo Kang Jun, a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as a high school student to recover Emperor Gojong’s missing gold.

Seo Kang Jun shared his excitement for the role, saying, “I hope viewers will stay tuned to see how Hae Seong’s undercover journey unfolds. It’s not just about his mission—it’s also about how he grows from being a lone agent to understanding the strength of working together.”
Describing the series as a blend of multiple genres, Seo Kang Jun added, “This show mixes comedy, crime, and heartfelt moments. I hope it feels like a special gift for everyone watching.”
Jin Ki Joo, who plays Oh Soo Ah, Jeong Hae Seong’s homeroom teacher and a temporary Korean history instructor, said she is especially looking forward to Seo Kang Jun’s action-packed scenes. “His NIS agent moments are going to make the show even more thrilling,” she said. Jin also described the series as a “genre buffet” that will take viewers on an emotional rollercoaster—making them laugh, swoon, and even get goosebumps.
Kim Shin Rok, who plays Seo Myung Joo, the chairwoman of Byungmun Foundation and Byungmun High School, compared the series to a “variety pack of ice cream.” She explained, “Just like a tub with multiple flavors, this drama offers a mix of different genres and exciting elements.
