2PM’s Taecyeon has addressed recent speculation about his marriage through his agency.

On February 5, photos of Taecyeon and his girlfriend began circulating on various online platforms. The images show him kneeling and presenting a ring in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, creating the impression of a proposal.

These pictures, originally taken last year, were first shared by a photographer on social media. However, after gaining widespread attention, they were later removed.

In response, a representative from Taecyeon’s agency, 51K, clarified the situation, stating, “These photos were not taken as part of a marriage proposal.” They further explained, “The images were captured last year to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday but were unfortunately leaked and widely shared online.”

The agency also reassured fans about Taecyeon’s relationship, saying, “He continues to maintain a happy relationship with his girlfriend, just as he always has. While marriage may be in his future at the right time, there are currently no immediate plans.”

Taecyeon publicly confirmed his relationship with his non-celebrity girlfriend in 2020.
