SBS has officially revealed that the highly anticipated third season of Taxi Driver will hit the screens in the latter half of 2025.

On February 6, the network confirmed, “The upcoming season of the Taxi Driver franchise, which has received immense support from fans, is set to air on SBS in the second half of the year.” This announcement has only heightened excitement for the new installment.

Inspired by the popular webtoon of the same name, Taxi Driver follows a covert taxi service that seeks justice for victims who have been failed by the legal system.

The third season will bring back the beloved Rainbow Taxi team, once again showcasing their unwavering teamwork. Lee Je Hoon reprises his role as Kim Do Gi, the skilled driver at the heart of the group. Kim Eui Sung returns as Jang Sung Cheol, the dependable leader of the team. Pyo Ye Jin is back as the talented hacker Ahn Go Eun, while Jang Hyuk Jin and Bae Yoo Ram will once again portray the brilliant engineering duo, Choi Kyung Goo and Park Jin Uhn.

Ahead of the second season’s conclusion, Lee Je Hoon expressed his hopes for a continuation, saying, “I would love to create another story with this family.” Now that the cast is reuniting, excitement continues to build for their return.

The upcoming season will feature writer Oh Sang Ho, who previously penned the scripts for the first two seasons, continuing his work on the series. He will collaborate with director Kang Bo Seung, known for his role as a co-director of Dr. Romantic 3.
